Android imposes a SMS message per amount of time limit. The default limits for Android 4.0 were 100 messages per hour. However, with Android 4.1 it was decreased to 30 messages in 30 minutes. Avid texters can pass this in no time. Evidence of this limit is usually a dialog asking if you wish to continue allowing your app to send messages.

This simple application simply adjusts these levels (within reason) to a value that better suits the user. It is not recommended to use un-realistic values, as this feature was implemented as a safeguard against malicious activity.

Once values are set, they will remain unless the user does a factory reset of the device or otherwise clears their user data.

The only known issue is that some HTC devices will not be rebooted after the changes are applied. Simply reboot the device for the new settings to take effect.
