Simple plugin for Tasker to read SMS from the inbox, with configurable options. Handy if you're scripting stuff and want to get at your SMS, for example to send them to a Pebble Smartwatch.
This is no use unless you use it through Tasker! It is not an independent application and will not appear in the launcher. Also, it can't send SMS messages - only read them.
If you want to read all the messages from Hangouts as well as your SMS, and have a rooted phone, try 'Hangouts Reader for Tasker' instead.
Permissions:
android.permission.READ_SMS - to... read SMS. Kind of the point of the whole thing.
android.permission.READ_CONTACTS - so you can see the name of the SMS sender rather than just a number.
android.permission.INTERNET - for crash reporting & user feedback form.
