SPIRAL AR is a viewer to see original AR contents that introduce events being held at Spiral.

◆About SPIRAL

SPIRAL is a multi-purpose cultural center which opened in October 1985, in Minami-Aoyama as the focus for cultural programs of the Wacoal Corporation. It is mainly composed of a gallery, and a multi-purpose hall. Other services include a restaurant bar, an everyday life accessories shop, and a beauty salon. SPIRAL's central concept is "fusion of art and everyday life." Since its opening it has hosted a variety of events, including contemporary art and design exhibitions, dance and theatre performances, concerts, fashion shows, symposiums, parties and art events merging different artistic genres.

◆About Exhibition

Spiral is proud to present “Tape Tokyo,” the first solo exhibition in Asia by Numen/For Use, at the Spiral Garden from November 18th (Mon) to December 4th (Wed).

Numen/For Use is a Croatia and Austria-based artist collective, this autumn will see the debut in Asia of one of their major projects, the gigantic “Tape Installation,” a public art installation created out of vast amounts of adhesive vinyl tape. The work-in-progress is open to the public, at the same time it can be seen by Spiral AR.

◆About NUMEN / FOR USE

Formed by Sven Jonke, Christoph Katzler and Nikola Radeljkovic as an industrial design unit in 1998 and based in Austria and Croatia. It works across many fields, including stage design, industrial design and art installations.
