The wolfSSL Client app gives you a quick and easy way to test multiple types of

SSL connections to any specified servers using the CyaSSL library.

Currently the app supports multiple TLS, SSL, and DTLS

security layers. It also supports a wide range of cipher suites.

SSL Client Instructions

- Connecting: To connect to a server, type the url or ip address

of the server into the 'Address' field. Then provide the port. Lastly,

choose 'Connect Only' if you want to send "Hello" to the server and wait

for a reply back. Alternatively choose 'Send HTTP GET' if you'd like to send a simple

HTTP GET and wait for a response.

- Certificates: To use your own certificates, download or copy them to the Downloads

folder on your device. Within the wolfSSL Client app open the navigation

drawer by tapping the wolfSSL logo at the top of the app. Tap the button

of the certificate you'd like to set.

- Security Layers: To change the CyaSSL security layer or cipher suite, simply open the

settings page at the top right of the app.

Testing against our CyaSSL Echosever

Installing CyaSSL: To test the wolfSSL Client app against our CyaSSL example server you will

need to build and install CyaSSL to your system. You can install CyaSSL in minutes

by following this guide:

Starting the Echoserver: To start the echosever, in terminal navigate to the CyaSSL folder you downloaded and extracted above. Then then type ./examples/echoserver/echoserver. The server

will run on port 11111 by default. Pressing CTRL+C in terminal will kill the server.

Certificates: To test our wolfSSL Client App against the echoserver, you will need to copy the client-cert.pem, client-key.pem, and the ca-cert.pem to the Downloads folder on your phone or device. You can find these certificates located in the certs folder within your CyaSSL download from above. Then from within the app, select those certificates before connecting.
