Safe 2 Drive is an Android application that protects teens from texting and inappropriate phone use while driving. Unlike similar applications:

- Safe 2 Drive is not tied to ANY SPECIFIC SERVICE PROVIDER. Safe 2 Drive will work with any Android

device, regardless of what carrier provides the phone service.

- Safe 2 Drive has NO MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEES!

- Safe 2 Drive does not allow the teen to disable it. Unlike some applications that must give the teen the ability to use their phone, when traveling as a passenger in a vehicle other than their own. Safe 2 Drive does not LOCK unless a specific Bluetooth device has activated Safe 2 Drive.

- Safe 2 Drive DOES NOT DEPEND ON GPS POSITIONING or SPEED MONITORING! Safe 2 Drive works by sensing the vehicle’s Bluetooth, any Bluetooth hands-free car kit, Bluetooth earpiece or a Bluetooth speaker set placed in the vehicle. Safe 2 Drive will continue to work if the teen’s phone has its GPS and network service turned off, and even when there is no phone service at all. Safe 2 Drive is not affected by cellular service signal loss or lack of.

Additional features include:

- Safe 2 Drive provides a single, prominent “ALERT!” icon that lets the teen call 911 or any phone number(s) that the parent has set up as an emergency contact.

- Safe 2 Drive provides the ability to remotely control Safe 2 Drive via sms text. A parent can lock, unlock, or verify Safe 2 Drive is currently running simply by sending a sms text to the phone Safe 2 Drive has been installed on.
