If you live in the UK and dial 0870, 0871, 0844, 0845 or 0800 numbers from your mobile then you could get charged.

What this app does is allow you to search for a local number by typing in either the company name or the 0870 number,

Some companies had many other numbers these will be listed below the search area. if the numbers have a black background then they have come from the verified section of the database, if the background is blue then the number have not been verified.

The numbers are displayed in four boxes as follows:

top left number is the 0870/0871 number (these are not normally included in your free minutes)

top right number is the 01, 02 or 03 area code number (these are included in any free minutes as part of your phone contract)

bottom left is the 0844/0845 number (these are local rate from landlines but are not normally included in your free minutes)

bottom right is any free phone number (these are also not normally included in your free minutes on most mobile contracts)

To use the app, simply type the company name or number and click the magnifying glass, data will then be recovered from the server and displayed in the list below the search area.

you can scroll up and down the list, if you click (touch) an item, it will then bring up the numbers you can call, just select your desired number and your mobile will call.

The is another box underneath the phone numbers this contains any other information or numbers.

A few people have complained about the app showing ads:

To remove ads (stop ads from showing), press the menu button on your android device and then select settings (the tools icon), on the settings page select the check box to disable ads. This will then not show any more ads.

I agree ads can be annoying but apps take time, efforts and some money to create and maintain, i have given the ability to remove ads, but it is the only was to make a small (and i mean small) amount and give it for free. If people have a better way of supporting continued and new development please email with your suggestions.
