Search Wizard for Accelerated Reader will allow you to scan the barcode of any book to find the AR Quiz number, Point Value, Reading Level, Interest Level, and Word Count. All scans are stored in a history from which you can print the information for your books. Other Apps use third party databases which do not contain all of the AR books archived with Renaissance Learning (the owner of AR). Search Wizard for Accelerated Reader has been given full access to the ENTIRE Renaissance Learning database. This will eliminate the problem of some AR books not being found. Older books frequently have barcodes that are not the ISBN of the book. Additional barcodes are sometimes located on the inside cover of the book. If the barcodes do not represent the true ISBN you will be able to type the ISBN, the Author, or the Title of the book, into the manual search tab. Search Wizard for Accelerated Reader is a must have for any teacher building a classroom set of AR books or parents searching for AR books for their children.
