Based on the title to Robert Irwin’s biography and the Paul Valery quote “ Seeing is forgetting the name of the thing that one sees” the photographs break down the icon, developing discrete views which expose the shape of the pin in all it’s inherent sexuality.This iPhone application incorporates these images and allows you to reconfigure the pin by scrolling into more than 1,000 variations.
