Immigration reform is important because the futures of 11 mi l l ion undocumented people hang in the balance. These 11 million mothers, daughters, fathers, and sons often end up working lower-than-minimum-wage jobs because they are stuck living in the shadows of society. FWD wants to change this with meaningful immigration reform, something that hasn't been addressed on a national level since 1986. We aim to pass legislation that would allow for a pathway to citizenship for these 11 million people so that they don't have to hide in the shadows anymore.
