SendNums is only a utility application. I wrote it to analyze problems with telephone numbers in the contacts database.All telephone numbers will be compiled to a list, that can be sent as e-mail. To honor your privacy, the following substitutions take place:all digits 0–9 will be replaced by the digit 9,all letters a–z and A–Z will be replaced by the letters z and Z,multiple occurrences of the same character will be replaced by the character following a +,occurrences of + and \ will be escaped by \.The result looks like a list of regular expressions. The non-letter and non-digit characters are particularly interesting for the analysis of problems.If you distribute an application that uses telephone numbers of the contacts database, you can react to customer problems as follows: ask the customer to install SendNums and mail you the result.My thanks go to the MAIL POINT GmbH for the nice icon.
