Shadow the Space Dog and Martin the astronaut fly a space ship which undertakes rescues, pirate control and other tasks on behalf of the International Space Centre on Planet Earth. Their first adventure is to rescue the Russian cosmonaut, Anna, whose space ship has developed a faulty oxygen converter. Martin brings the space ship close to Anna’s space ship so that Shadow can rescue Anna. They fly back to Moscow where a reception awaits them. Many of the pages have an optional “Paint Me” feature for children to finger paint the pages and create their own custom version of the book.
