Share My Place is a very simple app that allows you to quickly share your location and/or current address.

The app will create a picture of a map indicating your current position along with its address and you'll able to share it with your contacts and friends via email, message or any social networks you'd like to use.

You can use Share My Place when you have to meet someone and you want to quickly provide a detailed description of the place you are in or when you need to ask someone to come and pick you up somewhere. Or just to share with your friends where you are in a certain moment.

Does your phone support the new Lumia SensorCore?

Share My Place will be able to use some special tracking feature, allowing automatic detection of your home and work location as well as other places you visited more frequently. They will be shown on the map with their actual distance from your current location and you'll be able to surf between them using the "known places" button.

In addition Share My Place will also show you a route from some of your recent locations recorded by the phone in the last 24 hours.
