Newer versions of Android will time stamp text messages with the "received time" instead of the "sent time". So if your device is off or you are out of a service area for a period of time, when your phone reconnects to the network, any pending text messages appear as if they were just sent. This can be inconvenient for you to respond appropriately if the sender sent it hours or days before you received it.

This app reads appends the sent time to the message text if the receive time and sent time differ by more than 5 minutes. As well it appends the date if the text message was sent on a day prior to the same day.

Note: Do not disable other app notifications.
