Show & Write It allows presenters to send images to a host device (Mac or another iPad), annotate the images, and display the content through a projector connected to the host. Communication between the devices takes place over Wi-Fi. Unlike other apps that allow remote desktop connections ...Show & Write It simply sends images and written notes to your Mac or iPad to display. Because of this, communication only flows one way so any written notes sketched on the iPad is done in real-time without any delay in the presentation of the content to the host. Writing is thus fluid and natural, the way it was meant to be, in comparison to apps that allow remote desktop control.With Show and Write It, you import images to your photo library on your iPad, then display the documents in either portrait or landscape mode. Use the Photos facility in iTunes on your Mac or PC to send your iPad the images, even send your iPad images you export from Power Point. You can also use the built in camera on the iPad while using Show & Write It to snap pictures and use those as well.Other Features:- Use a variety of images...scanned images, or even images created from vector graphics editors like Adobe Illustrator.- Use images larger than the iPad display then move them around to show specific content...a great feature if you have content to display that's wider/longer than the iPad resolution.- Temporarily hide the image to respond to questions from the audience then return to the image when you are done, without having to send the host the image again.- The user interface is simply to use...only one hidden menu, and unlike apps that allow you to control your computer, there is no need to remember gestures since you are not controlling the host.- Unlike remote desktop connections, you remain connected to the host application even if you put Show & Write It in the background as you work with other apps. A great feature if you have to score assignments using Score Quick while you concurrently review homework and entertain questions.- Save images and annotations on the host device.
