The application plays SikhNet live Gurbani audio streams from Gurdwaras around the world and also plays SikhNet radio channels featuring different types of Gurbani music.

An active internet connection (Wi-Fi or Cellular Data) is required to populate the list of available channels and also to play any selected channel. The available channel lists are dynamically updated for any new or updated channels. A single tap on a channel in the list starts playing that channel and a new page with detailed information about the selected channel is displayed. Pressing the phone device ‘Back button’ takes back to the Channel list.

• All Gurdwara Channels - List of all Gurdwara Channels. ‘Live now’ channels in this list are indicated by a small transmitting icon next to the Channel # under the Channel image.

• Live Gurdwara Channels - List of ‘Live now’ Gurdwara Channels. ‘Live now’ refers to those Gurdwara Channels for which Gurdwara's regular broadcasting schedule is happening at that time.

• Setting to select ‘All’ or ‘Live now’ channels in the Gurdwara Channels List.

• Setting to select ‘Audio Stream Quality’.

• ‘Now Playing’ icon on the main page.

• ‘Now Playing’ info for the current audio track/artist whenever available is shown on the selected channel playing page.

• Transmitting icon for ‘Live now’ channels on the selected channel playing page.

• Channel Lists are automatically refreshed at regular intervals when the app is running.

• In ‘Trial mode’, only ‘SikhNet Channels’ can be selected to play. ‘Gurdwara Channels’ can only be played in the full version of the app.
