This is a simple application that can assist you to track the location of a loved through the use of SMS.

For the app to function accordingly, you need to install the application onto the loved one's phone. In addition make sure that the phone has some credit to send SMSes.

Once the application has been installed, you can use any other smartphone that has access to the internet to Send an SMS to the loved one's phone with the secret words "Where are you?". Please be exact with this words.

After some few minutes, you should be able to receive an SMS whose contents is a link highlight the geographical location of the phone. Hence, accessing the link will direct you to google maps where an icon displaying the position of the phone will be displayed onto the screen.

Interestingly, the SMS that you send "Where are you?" won't be broadcasted hence, the user won't be able to know once his/her phone receives the SMS and when the application will have replied. It's all in the background and silent mode.

It can be a nice way to track your loved one, lost/misplaced phone (only when it's on though) etc. Try it out and please send me any updates you would require.
