Semivowel Sound Pairs L/R - These sounds are sometimes referred to as Lifers (Lindamood). They are often influenced by the vowel or other consonant sounds surrounding this phoneme.

I have included a variety of context to practice the l/r outside of consonant blends. A wide variety of vocalic /r/ are included in the medial and final position of words. This app contains over 190 colorful pictures/words in initial, medial, and final positions of words between the two phonemes.

Each picture also contains a silly sentence using words with the same phoneme for extra practice at the sentence level. Audio is provided to name each picture allowing for more independent practice for students and auditory bombardment. Each app provides the opportunity for data collection during therapy. The therapist can email the data at the end of the session to save in student records.

This app is a great way to practice sounds in therapy or at home with family and friends.
