SmartLocks adds an additional layer of security while unlocking your phone. If you are not interested in additional security for unlocking simply do not install this app.

SmartLock gives you maximum flexibility both in comfort and security by defining save unlock conditions. Free version allows up to 2 WiFi-unlock conditions.

SmartLock is not an automatic device unlocker which is known not to work on all devices and in case of working it's a severe security risk because unlocking could happen unnoticed.

SmartLock waits for a first user driven unlock (could be a simple slide) and then checks against valid unlock conditions. In case these conditions fail device gets immediately locked again. You can even define new or change existing conditions while your device is locked because SmartLock can run on a locked screen.

-Enable autolock which locks your device automatically when unlock conditions get invalid.

-All your settings are secured by a passhrase.

-In addition to specific WiFi-names you can also set a minimal signal level as valid condition.
