Note: This game was developed for the "BeActive" challenge and for me to find out about this new way to control a game. Feel free to try it out, it is totally free :-) To make this game runnable on older devices the old "geowatcher" was implemented (instead of the newer geolocator (WP8 only) to receive GPS updates. If this is too slow let me know.

You think this is an ordinary snake game? Sorry to disappoint you because here you have to run to get your points. This game is controlled with your GPS Sensor. Yes, you have to go outside.

Find a nice, empty space in your garden or the next free field.

You first have to set a center for your game and your gamearea. Feel free to resize it like you want, every size gives another gamefeeling. After setting this press "Begin" and the snake begins to catch you. If you do not feed it in time it will become much faster and therefore harder to win, There will be an apple at a time on the field. Find it and let the snake run over it to slow it down.

Your goal in this game is simple: You do not want the snake to get hurt and you do not want to get bitten. Do not let your snake run into walls, itsself or you. If that ever happens the game is over. When you move around the map, the snake changes its direction accordingly. Whenever your snake touches an item on the playground, it gets affected by it. Your goal is to keep your snake running for as long as possible. You will get points for every second you survive, every meter you move and every collected item. Please warm up properly before playing!
