With the Snapper Mobile app and your near field communication (NFC) smartphone you can instantly check the balance, top up, or buy a travel pass for any Snapper + card.

*a Snapper + card has a ‘+’ on the front of the card in the top right-hand corner.

How to use Snapper Mobile:

1. Install the Snapper Mobile app

2. Make sure your smartphone has NFC turned on (Settings > Wireless and Networks > More settings > NFC)

3. Hold the Snapper + card to the back of your smartphone to instantly check the balance and then top up, buy a travel pass or collect a token for the card.

Want to be able to pay with your phone?

Snapper Mobile also works with 2degrees Touch2Pay smartphones (with a Touch2Pay SIM from a 2degrees Wellington store) so you can pay for your bus fare, taxi ride, parking, or coffee and snack from a Snapper retailer.
