So2Speak+ Speech and Language Therapist / Pathologist paid appThis is the therapist version of the So2Speak app which enables you to send a programme to your patient that they access through the free version of the patient app.The patient must download the free app and once you have set up their programme using So2Speak+ they will then have a code emailed to them to download their individual programme to their free patient version of the So2Speakapp.So2Speak+ is a brand new tool to design and deliver tailored oro-motor exercise programmes using your iPad.The So2Speak app uses the touchscreen capabilities of the iPad and iPhone to provide a simple and intuitive tool to design, implement and adapt oro-motor exercise programmes as quickly and easily as possible. Following completion of the patient assessment, the speech and language therapist can work with the patient to agree their overall goals and the frequency and duration of their individual programme. Within each muscle group the exercises are divided further to focus on key areas of improvement;• Range of movement• Strength of movement• Speed of movementWhen all the required exercises have been chosen, the therapist can work with the patient to decide on the right timing, frequency and duration of the exercise programme and also set up alerts and reminders for the patient if needed.Once the therapist has completed the simple set-up process, the patient can access their personalised programme for free on their own iPad or iPhone device in the comfort of their own home. During the course of the programme, the therapist can monitor a patients’ progress remotely by viewing exercise completion, performance rating scores and quality of life assessments.
