A long time ago, in a castle shrouded in the shadows of twilight, lived an evil witch. Angered by the kingdom's disregard for her magic, the witch decided to show the king and queen just what she was capable of and demand their respect in a brilliant show of power. The day of the royal nations ball, the witch appeared in a rush of portentous wind, taking the castle by storm and shocking the guests speechless. In bitter response for their blatant disrespect, the tall, horned, black-clad witch cursed the lot of them. Saving the king and queen for last, they were forced to watch their esteemed guests fall victim to the witch's cruel curse. Disappearing in a swirl of purple clouds when the deed was done, the witch made plans for her domination of the realm and the reverence of the people.

Little did she know at the time, but there was one brave soul, a soldier of the realm who was immune to her powerful spell. In honor to his king and queen, the brave soldier of Matcheficent Fall Free began his quest to the witch's castle, ready to brave the wilds of her enchanted forest. In his journey, many trials awaited him, puzzles of all sorts that challenged his progress to the black castle. But brave and smart he was, for he conquered each obstacle and with sword in hand, he confronted the evil witch. The cruel mistress was horrified to find her spell was not as complete as she'd thought, and as her anger swelled, her form transformed into that of a mighty winged dragon. The witch did her best, coming at the soldier with everything she had, but the soldier withstood it all, even the smoldering flame of her breath. With a thrust of his sword, the deed was done, and with the witch vanquished, the curse was lifted and all was returned to the way that it was before, with the brave soldier being knighted for his masterful efforts.
