Start Arithmetic is an ideal app for young people learning arithmetic. Practice addition, subtraction, multiplication and/or division, at a level you control.

You can set which of the four types of calculation to test, and you can choose the range of numbers - early learners might start with addition of numbers from 2 to 5, but for a testing mental arithmetic workout, try setting multiplication and division with numbers from 13 to 20.

The app is non-judgemental, rewarding a correct answer but not too discouraging with incorrect answers.
