Faced with loneliness and maybe diminished physical and mental powers, this app is aimed at helping a senior stay healthy, connected to her family and in control of her life. It brings the power of an Android tablet to help in this very personal way.

Family photos show in a gallery. Family and Friends can send pictures by email or upload them by the web.

For some age brings hearing difficulties which increase isolation and loneliness. the Hard-of-Hearing features enables phone conversations with family and friend using text and phone-call together.

The underlying principle of this system is to treat the senior with respect. One way we do this is by simplifying the operation so that 'Grandma' never needs to touch the tablet. For some apps, like Skype, she needs to tap one button.

No buttons, works by itself. Managed remotely.

The app is in two parts. One running on an Android tablet or dongle in Grandma's living room.

The other is on the <http://www.stay-in-touch.ca> website or apps on your Android phone like Show Grandma, or Txt Grandma used to send photos, videos, or texts from you!

In order to run it you need a tablet (for Grandma) and at least a laptop to run the <http://www.stay-in-touch.ca> website to provide your elder with images and love.
