This is a simple shortcut application to open the camera in stills mode.

Why do you need it?

Are you familiar with the situation (especially as parents for little kids) that you need to take a picture as fast as you can.

So you click on the camera application and then you need to see if it is in video mode or stills mode, and then change the mode to stills mode and then take a picture.

With "Stills Launcher" you just click the application icon and take a picture, because it already in stills mode :-)

This application goes together with "Video Launcher" application that opens the camera in video mode.
