1. What is Store Extension?

Store Extension is intended to be a tool to extend the features of the WP Store.

2. What can I do exactly?

Well, just think to this:



a. Have you ever wanted to stay updated about all your favourite publishers, without open the Store, searching for it, clicking on an app of its, swiping on "Details", and clicking "Other from ..." ?



b. Have you ever wanted to download an app, but you realized you didn't have enough connection at that moment? What you could do was just store the name of that app somewhere and search for it in the WP Store when having connection.

With Store Extension you don't have these kind of problems anymore.

3. Ok. What else?

Store Extension will automatically check for updates, from the publishers you saved in your list and from apps you saved as Favourites, in the exact moment in which you click on the "?" button to view the publisher's apps or the app's details. You can also check for updates in one shot by clicking the "Update" button, so that the app will check for updates from all your favourite publishers or your favourite apps. 
When you search for a publisher or an app, Store Extension looks both into the WP8 Store and the WP7 Store, so that you can make a really complete search. 
If this isn't enough, Store Extension is also capable to search for "System apps" from Nokia (now Microsoft Mobile), Samsung, and HTC. Just write the applet's name or the name of its publisher into the search box.

It could happen that Store Extension isn't be able to retrieve some app of a publisher. This is dued to the fact that the Microsoft online service, which Store Extension is based on, couldn't be always correctly updated. In this case, you can write the title of the app in the dedicated textbox, and click the "+" button. Store Extension will look for the app in the Microsoft database and will add it in the publisher's collection.
