StoreCards scans the barcodes from the store cards cluttering up your wallet and keychain and makes it easy to retrieve and display them on your phone.The barcodes can be read by most CCD scanning devices. Certain older red laser devices have difficulty reading barcodes from iPhone screens. If difficulties are encountered, ask if they have a second hand scanner as these are often capable of reading from the screen. When all else fails, your account number is displayed at the bottom of the screen and can be keyed in by the shop clerk.For best results when scanning your cards - place the card on a flat surface in bright light and hold the camera as still as possible.You can tap the map pin in the upper corner of the barcode screen to find nearby stores. If no stores appear, try going back and tapping again - this is a long standing bug in Apple's location code. The map pin flag has buttons to get driving directions from your current location and to dial the store and ask about hours etc.
