CHARACTERS

Krait - A seven foot monster, who speaks 11 languages seems impossible to kill and has a distinct dislike for sunlight. ZuZu is the only one who understands him and the only one he will confide in.

ZuZu - Krait's patchwork pony and partner. They are best friends and she would follow him to hell if that wasn't where they'd just came from.

Lucy - A girl orphaned from the disposable Chinese railroad crews. She wants to know why the Asians are considered less than human. Lucy is in love with Krait, but he only loves his horse.
