The Lost Swift Silver Mines. In 1761, Swift and a small party including two experienced miners set out into a trackless wilderness. According to the legend, these mines were worked by the Shawnee and Cherokee long before the white man came. Jonathan Swift left a journal telling the location of this mine but there were no roads to GPS in the 1770s so the landmarks he used in his map and journal are not so easily found today. We have included GPS coordinate of locations where treasure hunters have discovered silver coins of the 1760s and chunks of silver ore that was also dug out of the hill side.Wise County Virginia is one of the possible locations of the Silver Mines discovered by Jonathan Swift in the 1760s. Stone Mountain in Wise County is rumored to be where the Swift Silver Mines are located. Stone Mountain has a stand of Hemlock trees that are over 300 years old, so much of the area is undisturbed by development or settlement.

In the Legends section there are descriptions of Woodboogers (the locals name for bigfoot), Moonshiners and UFOs. In the Game the player has to hunt and click on the right Woodbooger or Moonshiner or UFO to earn points.
