Fun for the whole family!Swipe Grid is an addictive 2048 style tile game where the user swipes the screen to move the tiles across the board in either a vertical or horizontal move. When a tile matches another bordering tile in the direction being swiped, it will merge with that tile and the next level tile will replace them. The object of the game is to reach the number numbered tiles, but that doesn't end the game, as each time you get to the target tile, you will get a bonus, plus a new target tile to strive for. The game ends only when there are no spaces open on the grid, and there are no moves able to be done.With nine ways of game play for Swip Grid, the player can change the play to suit their mood. Games can be played on either of three grid sizes (three, four and five tiles), and the game style can be of magnitudes of two (two tiles match, and increase in value by the magnitude of two (2, 4, 8, 16...)), by the harder magnitudes of threes, (three tiles match, and increase in value by the magnitude of three (3, 9, 27, 81...) or the Fibonacci sequence version (two tiles are next to each other in the Fibonacci sequence, and increase to the next Fibonacci sequence number (1, 1, 2, 3, 5...). Additionally the user can select between a variety of screen themes (colour palate and fonts), and merge effects (sparks, puffs, or no effect.) Users who have upgraded the app, can switch number styles between Arabic, Roman and Hexadecimal (base 16) numbering systems.Game Centre is enabled to retain your high scores so you can easily check to see how you rate against other players. Game Centre can also be used to transfer your high scores to your other Apple devices (using the same Apple ID). High scores are maintained for each grid size and game style combination (nine possible high scores).Games can be enjoyed in any orientation (landscape or portrait.)Upgrading the App (with an In-App purchase) will expand the game experience in a few ways: 1) Access the game settings menu without leaving the app to visit Apple's Settings App. The user simply uses the game settings menu in the app itself.2) Allows user to turn off or on the banner ads in the game. Without ads the game's playing grid is slightly larger.3) User can choose between Arabic, Roman and Hexadecimal (base 16) numbers.4) Games are automatically saved and restored, allowing the user to continue an interrupted game even after the app had been terminated.5) Allows the user to select a volume level for sound effects, not merely on or off.Uprgrading the app will not alter actual game play in anyway, only enrich the playing experience by adding options, and retaining game data during interuptions.
