This is my second app. I am learning java, and created this using the fantastic book "Beginning Android Games" written by Mario Zechner(Chapter 4). I took the liberty of modifying some of the code where I could, so this will not be exactly like what is in the book.

System Test allows you to test certain functions of your phone. Ever wonder how data is seen by your phone?

Test the functions of your system:

-Life Cycle Test

(Hit back, home, or lock your phone. Open this app back and see how the system interrupts these actions.)

-Single Touch Test

(Touch the screen with one finger. Shows the x and y coordinates.)

-Multi-touch Test

(Touch the screen with multiple finger. Shows the x and y coordinates of each. How many touches can your phone capture?)

-Key Test

(Got a keyboard? Test functionality.)

-Accelerometer Test

(Gravity?! That's what this test checks. Returns the x, y, and z values of the Accelerometer in m/s.)

-Assets Test

(Loads a text file stored inside this package.)

-External Storage Test

(Accesses the SD card, creates a text file, displays the info, then deletes it!)

-Sound Pool Test

(Touch the screen... huh? Take your finger off! That's how this *beep* works.)

-Media Player Test

(open to test a tune.)

-Full Screen Test

(Tests fullscreen functionality. Plays a tune while it does.)

-Render View Test

(Tests screen access for pixel modifications. Do not stare at this if you have epilepsy.)

-Shape Test

(See the shapes? Drag the square.)

-Bitmap Test

(Loads and places a bitmap(.png) image on the screen.)

-Font Test

(Loads a font, and creates a sample test with it.)

-Surface View Test

(Draws to the ServiceView. Enhances screen refresh and allows the CPU to focus on more important tasks.
