Tsindos The Greeks Restaurant was founded in 1970 by Harry Tsindos and was situated on Russell St, in the city of Melbourne. It was a traditional and family run business where Harry's wife and children worked. Harry's son, Fred Tsindos, started off waitering there, and eventually took over the business.

Working with, then for him, was Elephtheria Katsanidou, whom he made his wife.

Together, Fred and Elephtheria, in 1984, re-situated the restaurant around the corner on Lonsdale St, where it stands today. Now managing and in the process of running the business is Fred's son Harry Tsindos Jnr.

Tsindos The Greeks Restaurant prides itself on friendly service and provides a warm family atmosphere with traditional Greek cuisine. Thank you for dining at Tsindos, we hope you enjoy your meal.
