“Taiwan Designers' Week” APP allows you to quickly navigate the activities happening throughout the event. It not only includes introductions from all participating exhibitors and design teams, but also incorporates guides to not-to-be-missed design shops around Taiwan. The APP is truly the best way to get a taste of design in Taiwan.

Detailed functions:

Exhibitions: The APP provides a location map for each booth in the main exhibition hall. You can browse information about the exhibitors, design team profiles, and external links by simply clicking at the booth on the map. This will allow you to grasp first-hand information with just one click.

Calendar: The APP integrates the timelines among various forums during the exhibition, including [Let’s Talk Design], [Design Cinema], [Design Workshop], and [Open House]. It’s a great way to track the event time and duration.

Outreach: The APP shows a series of design spaces, locations of the design shops and design atmosphere cafe that are connected to the exhibition. You can get to [Go-Design] casually and explore the [Design Links].

Photo: The organizer provides various design-oriented photo frames. You can capture what you see at the exhibits and keep the great memories with friends.

Bookmark: You can bookmark your favorite exhibitors and design teams. It’s a great way to track what you have seen.

Prior to 2007, Taiwan did not have an exhibition that specifically shows the characteristics of Taiwanese designers. In 2007, a self-initiated private sector event called “Taiwan Designers' Week” was born, and a ten-day design event held annually in September has now entered its sixth year.

The theme for 2012 Taiwan Designers' Week is "FLOW", a symbol for endless possibilities and new opportunities for the future of Taiwanese designers. It illustrates the surge of inspiration and endless stream of creativity.

This year’s exhibition takes place at the “EXPO Dome” Pavilion at Taipei Expo Park. The participants include more than 500 designers, 100 designer brands and studios, including designers from Japan, Germany, and Sweden. It is an annual international design festival.
