The Tablets for Schools Toolkit app is a free downloadable resource for School Heads, Tablet scheme leads and teachers to help get the most out of Tablets when used in an educational context. It covers the essential areas you need to think about when integrating 1-2-1 devices into teaching and learning. You can find out about: pedagogy, finance, infrastructure, content and safety and also download helpful documents. Tablets for School is a not-for-profit initiative and this Toolkit app draws on best practice from our independent research across 21 schools, as well as academics and industry experts. The research itself can be accessed via registration on the app. What is becoming more and more evident is that successful implementation is not about the device, it’s all about the pedagogy! This toolkit highlights what research schools have learnt - the benefits and the issues based on their first-hand school experience. We believe that Tablets represent a once-in-a-generation opportunity to help transform learning for every child, but starting on the right foot and with the right priorities is very important.
