Note: The Talking Alarm uses Media Player, so media volume needs to be audible enough.(You can do this by going to youtube or play a song and then increase the media volume)

Talking Alarm has 2 apps built in

1. Alarm

2. Location and Time based Ringer Settings.

The Talking Alarm speaks the current time until you snooze or dismiss the alarm.

You can also set it to talk today's day Date and Weather.

Time is spoken along with the Alarm. You can choose to turn off the Alarm ringtone when you set your alarm by selecting the Ringtone as "Silent"

You can add your own phrase you would like to hear along with the time. just enter the phrase in the label of the alarm.

To hear Weather conditions, create a separate alarm and label your alarm as "weather".

The Location and Time and Time based Settings.

Never get a loud call when you are in office or at church or movies and do not miss a call when you are back home because you forgot to turn the ringer back up loud.

The Location and Time based Ringer Settings part come with 4 predefined modes/profiles and you can add as many more you like.

Define the time range or/and set the location for a mode and set the ring tone for that mode, set the ringer volume, the vibrate option and the notification ringtone for text messages and mails.

The location tracking is done using GPS or Wireless Network. You can define your own distance/range for each of them. If GPS is enabled then location will be tracked using GPS and if GPS is not available then location will be tracked using Wireless Network.

As GPS is fairly accurate you can set your distance/range to be lower about 100-500 mtrs and location tracking based on wireless network is coarse so you can set that value higher 500-1000 mtrs. you can see the current distance in meters on the Modes list.

You can get to the Location and Time based Settings by clicking on the media button on the bottom strip of buttons.

If you choose not to use the Location and Time based settings simple go to list of Modes/Profiles and disable or delete all the profiles/modes.
