Tap-Card-Pay early proof-of-concept demo app.

Tap-Card-Pay Systems Corporation (TapCardPay.com) has a new “Patent Pending” technology that allows Smartphones or Tablets to pay for products and services using Visa, MasterCard, and American Express through the device’s Web Browser with just a Tap on the back of any NFC-enabled Smartphone or Tablet.

Use the app with our testing page http://DEMO.TAPCARDPAY.COM to experience the intended functionality. Note that this early demo contains minimal security features. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

System requirement :

Android 4.1.2+ (support for older versions of Android TBA)

NFC hardware

Compatible phones: Google Nexus series, Samsung Galaxy series, and many more

Internet connectivity (3G, 4G, LTE, Secured WiFi)

Payment card with contactless "PayPass", "PayWave", "Express Pay" or similar technologies

Android Internet browser or Chrome internet browser

Users with older versions:

Please uninstall older versions of Tap-Card-Pay and DroidPHP++ apps.

Instructions:

1. Install "Tap-Card-Pay" from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tcp.reader on your Android device.

2. Return to the Home screen.

3. Go to the Demo page and see it live!

Start "Internet" or "Browser" app, point to the following address, or click the link to open the page in your "Internet" or "Browser" app.

You will see our demo page with 3 text fields and a link that says "Click here to capture card info".

Click the link. If your NFC sensor is not already turned on, you will be prompted to enable the sensor.

Click "Go to settings", find the NFC option, activate the NFC option. Press the "back" button to return the page.

The next screen will say “Hold card behind flashing light until all lights turn on.” Place your payment Card behind the phone.

A successful read will output a sound effect and display your credit card information, such as your payment card number and expiry date. Depending on your card issuer, some cards will also display your card holder’s name.

- The “Tap-Card-Pay” app is not fully functional on its own at this time, and must work in conjunction with our demo page, demo.tapcardpay.com.

- Some Android smartphones with removable batteries have their NFC antennas built-in to its battery or back casing. If you are using aftermarket batteries or casing, you may lose NFC functionality without warning from the phone.

– This demo is a very early stage development demo. Although all data is stored locally on the phone, it is not fully secured by any means, and data can be compromised if the device itself is compromised.
