Download the free TapIt Metro DC App and find all of the locations within 50 miles of DC that will welcome you and provide water refills in the interest of promoting clean, healthy tap water…for FREE, no purchase necessary.

The Council of Governments (COG) has partnered with regional water utilities, and TapIt to create a network of businesses in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia and the list of businesses and fountains is growing all the time.

This app uses your GPS location to find the nearest participating business refill partner or public water fountain using the water locator map and then enjoy a refreshing water refill for free!

APP INCLUDES:

-Two different icons help you locate participating business locations and fountain locations

-Directions to the nearest location using your phone’s built in map application

-In app updates via Twitter about events and service changes from your local utilities

-Ability to share your refill at participating businesses with your Facebook friends or Twitter followers so you can let everyone know what clean, sustainable water means to you!
