If you are a Cisco network engineer, you'll definitely need to learn this.

It's preferred if you studied CCNA certification. However, it's not required. I am assuming you would be just a programmer hired just to program the scripts without knowledge or experience in Cisco router commands and what they mean. All you need to know is general computer networking knowledge.

This is a set of more than 36 videos that teaches how to program using the Tcl scripting language on Cisco routers. By using Tcl, you can write scripts that can control the router and also helps you to put scheduled tasks using the router's command "kron". Also helps you to make your own custom reports that the router command "show" does not display them the way you like.

The codes that are explained in the lessons are already attached in the app. You can find them in the options menu. They will be copied to the SD card , folder "Downloads".

If you don't have a real Cisco router hardware, then watch Lesson video number one. You'll learn how to emulate the operating system IOS of the Cisco router on Debian GNU/Linux and using GNS3.
