Teach Me Time is a visually-interactive way to teach individuals how to tell time with an analog clock. With a simple, distraction-free interface, this app is easily adapted to those with special needs or their typical peers.Have you struggled with teaching your special-needs child how to tell time? As a parent of a autistic daughter, I understand the challenges we go through to find alternate ways to teach and connect with our kids. I designed this app with the special-needs community in mind. Teach Me Time is a visually-interactive way to teach individuals how to read and tell time on an analog clock. Users are greeted with a simple, distraction-free interface. The numbers are displayed on the hands, instead of the face of the clock. As the user rotates the hands around the face of the clock, the numbers update the time relative to the position of the hands. In doing so, the user gains knowledge of the visual spacial relationship of the the hands without an over-stimulating and distracting interface. *Future updates that will be included are the ability to turn the numbers off of the faces as fluency progresses, 24 hour time testing and saved scoring.
