On behalf of Tearfund, Nimbus Consulting has worked closely with PoiMapper, to develop an application with a set of features unique to the challenges of International Development and Humanitarian Relief. In addition to the standard data collection and GEO mapping services of PoiMapper, this special edition also includes an information repository which acts as a reference manual and news feed for remote field workers. All functionality works both on and offline to meet the unique challenges of working in remote, ‘sometimes connected’ environments.

For health workers we have also built a feature whereby they can set SMS reminders for clients to take medication or make clinic appointments.
