The Test Factory App is a Client Application for Windows Phone 8 to provide the Test Execution functionality for HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and HP Quality Center on Mobile and Offline Smartphone Devices.

Test Factory App Basic Features

· Manual Test Execution on a Mobile and Offline Smartphone Device

· Handling of Test Sets, Test Instances, Test Runs and Test Steps for Test Execution

· Download of Test Sets and Test Instances from ALM Server

· Download of Design Tests, Design Steps and Test Configurations to the Mobile Device

· Upload of Test Runs and Test Steps after Test Execution to the ALM Server

· Synchronization of Test Sets and Test Instances with ALM Server after Test Execution

· Direct Connection from the Mobile Device to the ALM Server (no additional Backend Infrastructure necessary)

· Connection to ALM Server only for Download and Upload (optimal for ALM Installation with concurrent License Model)
