This app gives you access to a math tutor via smartphone via text or email. This service will change the way you get help with your math homework and assignments! All responses come from real qualified tutors with math degrees! We started this app so we can help you with your math!

Simply submit your math problems via the app by typing in a question or using your smartphone's camera. Within minutes our tutors will respond with explanations, worked out solutions, or even video right to your phone. If you don't understand simply reply back to the tutor and they can give additional help!

We currently offer help in most math topics taught in high school and entry level college classes including: prealgebra, algebra, geometry, algebra 2, precalculus, trigonometry, statistics, calculus 1, and most calculus 2 courses.

Q#1) How do I send in a question?

Simply use the app or text us at our number 208-557-8676. You can also send texts or picture messages. We also accept questions at textmathtutor@gmail.com.

Q#2) How fast does it take to get an answer?

Our service is one of the quickest out there. We dare you to compare us to any other homework or tutoring app. Our response time varies depending on how hard the question is and how busy we are. Our average response time is 5 minutes if you need just an answer and 10 minutes if you need a fully worked solution. If you need even faster responses text us ahead of time so we can schedule an extra tutor just for you.

Q#3) How much does this cost?

We charge 1 credit per question if you need just an answer or an answer with a brief explanation. This is our quickest option which is texted right to your phone/device.

We charge 2 credits per question if you need the question fully worked out. Fully worked out solutions are texted right to your phone as a link.

We charge 3 credits per question if you need a video solution. A tutor will work out the question and give explanations. Video solutions take the longest to make and are sent right to your phone as links.

Q#4) Can I send in more than one question at a time?

You bet ... just make sure you have enough credits for all the questions you send in. Questions with multiple parts may be charged more.

Q#5) What days and time are you open?

Our service is open everyday from noon to midnight eastern time. However we do work outside those hours by appointment. Text us ahead of time so we can schedule you.

Q#6) I need online homework help ... do you do that?

Yes we have a special online screen share tool that allows you to share your computer screen with our tutors. Just text us to try it out.

Q#7) I haven't got an answer yet? What's up?

We almost always reply within 10 minutes! If you haven't heard from us we probably didn't get your question. Text us at 208-557-8676 to talk with us so we can check on your question.

Q#8) Do you guys ever miss an answer?

We don't usually make mistakes but we are human. If we miss your question let us know and we will refund your credits for that question.

Q#9) Do I need the app to use this service?

NO YOU DO NOT NEED THE APP! If you have an Android phone feel free to use the app if not just text us at 208-557-8676 and we will set you up on our system. If using a tablet use Text+ to text us.

Q#10) Do you help with anything other than math?

Our major focus is math from pre-algebra to Calculus 2 and Statistics. We might be able to help with others but we do not offer guarantees on subjects outside of these.
