Text Aloud - Hands Free (Formerly Speak Drive Text)

This app is the gold standard in hands free texting! This is your My Motospeak replacement. Our goal is to promote safe driving so you can safely text and drive.

COMPOSE / CALL / REPLY and SEND text messages (SMS text) by using voice commands.

Speak Drive Text will read your incoming text message (SMS) aloud to you, but only when your provide the correct voice command. For example, you receive an incoming text message (SMS), you then provide the correct voice command ("Read Message") and Speak Drive Text will read the text message out loud. If no voice command is given then no text message is read out loud. Once the text message (SMS) is read aloud, you then have the opportunity to voice your reply or even call the sender, all while being completely HANDS-FREE and EYES-FREE!

Competing apps don't give you the option of having the text message (SMS) read out loud or not, it's either on or it's off. This app has many features that will allow you to never toggle the service on/off but yet only have the app enabled when you want it. For example, only enabled when connected to Bluetooth, or only when headphones are connected. You can even turn on automatic replies while in a meeting. You can also make it like the competitors which will always read the text messages out loud.

Speak Drive Text is a SMS text message reader that acts like a personal text assistant that will convert your text to voice and then your voice back to text in a reply.
