This is a person locator app used with the thankpeople.com website. This app gives you the ability to search for people locally and thank them for whatever reason you can imagine.

How to use the app:

1 - The app will use your phone's network and/or gps location services to identify your location.

2 - A filter option is provided to fine tune the list of people returned from the thankpeople.com site. Default radius is 1 mile with a max of 50 miles. A general age and ethnicity is provided too.

3 - To perform the search select the magnifying glass.

4 - You can scroll through the list of people until you find the person you are looking for. Once found select them to bring up an abbreviated profile. If you confirm this is the person you want to thank then select 'Thank'. This will send you to the person's secure profile page using your phone's browser.

Currently there are two options available to thank someone. You can use the site's relay service to send a message without using your email address. You can also give someone a monetary gift.

As a member you have the benefit of managing your own profile. This gives you the advantage of fine tuning how someone can search for you. You also get your own profile page which helps promotes you within the community.

You can also securely open a WePay payment account and connect it to your ThankPeople account. This gives you the ability to receive monetary gifts.
