The Grade is a unique female friendly dating app designed for the most desirable singles and aims to create a community of desirable, responsive, and articulate singles. The Grade is a fun and simple to use new online dating app that emphasizes quality over quantity. The Grade holds singles accountable for their dating behavior and uses a proprietary algorithm to expel low quality singles who are hostile, offensive, unresponsive and undesirable.

The Grade analyzes user behavior on the Grade based on 3 categories – profile popularity, responsiveness, and message quality— and assigns a letter grade in each category ranging from A+ to F and a cumulative grade, which appear in the user’s profile for other users to see. The Grade enables you to meet new people and view potential matches without sifting through what our algorithm has determined to be undesirable, inarticulate, hostile, and unresponsive singles. Users are given instructions on how to improve their grades and receive a warning if they fall below a “C” grade. You can only chat with your matches to ensure that you do not receive unwanted messages.

Grades are entirely objective and are determined by a sophisticated algorithm that analyzes user behavior on The Grade. The profile popularity grade incorporates the quality of a user's profile to ensure that profiles have several photos and interesting content while also incorporating how often a user's profile is liked. The response rate grade is based on how often a user responds to messages and gets a response back. The message quality grade is based on the content of a person’s message and checks for spelling mistakes, use of slang, and inappropriate words. The 3 categories combine to make up a user’s overall grade, which is displayed for other users to consider.

The concept of The Grade was informed by substantial market research that revealed a deep dissatisfaction amongst both single men and women of current popular mobile chat and dating apps. A recurring theme, particularly from single women on popular mobile dating apps, was that they were unhappy with the quantity of low quality daters and the frequency of inappropriate, hostile, and suggestive messages and photos they received from guys. The Grade holds singles accountable for their behavior by expelling low quality users, and aims to create a dating community of desirable, responsive, and articulate daters.
