TimberBeam is an application targeted at architects and construction engineers. It covers one of more commons cases in small structures: a beam supported at both ends with uniform load. Additionally you can enter a concentrated load at center.

It aims to be fast and easy to use. Just enter beam length and load to get the beam section you need.

TimberBeam can be used both for sawn lumber and for structural glued laminated timber, but only sawn lumber tables (US and Europe) are included.

You can select your favorite system of units:

- SI (metric)

- MKS (metre-kilogram-second)

- Imperial (inch-pound)

It lets you adjust vertical deflection limits (both relative and absolute), safety factor, bending strength and modulus of elasticity.

Output data contain bending moment, support force, minimum modulus, minimum moment of inertia, and, for each section, maximum stress and deflection.

The app help contains formulas used and a complete explanation of how it works.

Trial version is not useful, but it lets you test it and compare results with your PC app.
