Change from silent mode on to silent mode off with a single touch.

Android devices allow several ways to turn the sound on and off and to replace the sound with vibrations. Using Settings requires opening Settings, selecting Sound, selecting Silent mode and then closing Settings. An alternative to this drawn out tapping dialog is to open the Phone app and long pressing the # key and then closing the Phone app. This method is more efficient than using Settings, but frequently is bothersome because attempts at long pressing simply produce a series of # characters in the keyboard input area.

This application provides a single tap method to toggle the device from normal sound mode to silent/vibration mode. Simply tap the launcher icon and the device changes modes and provides a momentary display of the new mode of the device. The familiar phone icon in vibration mode automatically displays at the top of the screen.
