Train Finder helps you to find the train schedules in Sri Lanka in an easier and smarter way. It gives you the list of options that you can travel from the given source to the destination. Its features includes the following

1. Shows up to three options to reach the destination earliest possible.

2. Shows the relayed options (options with more than 1 train) if available. This is applicable for both searches across railway lines and for searches within a single line !!!.

3. Search is based on the day (e.g. Monday-Friday trains are not taken if searched for a Sunday)

4. Search can be done for any day and from any time (See the 'Advanced' section)

5. This app even suggest options that includes stations that are not between the given 2 stations, if they are better than any other option available. (e.g. Maradana - Kandy search from 3 p.m. suggests to go back to Fort from first train and go to Kandy from second train)

6. (NEW) Can view the complete schedule of each individual train (on which stations, at what time) in the results.

7. (NEW) Searches are saved in history and can be viewed offline (up to 20 searches)

Note:

The data for this app is initially received from Sri Lanka Government Information Center (http://www.gic.gov.lk/gic/index.php?lang=en), and stored in the backend server. Some of the errors, that were presented with the original data was corrected, and the other errors can also be corrected as reported. Since this app doesn't use the GIC data directly, any updates on GIC data will not immediately reflect on the app.
