Combined with a freely available spirit level app and a tape measure, this app will calculate the height of a tree (or any other similar structure) in a moment.
This app works in generic units so it will happily work out imperial or metric measurements providing you give it the right input.
Constructive criticism is welcome, this is my first app but it passes all tests for me on various devices. TreeTops will pass on anonymous usage statistics to aid in improving the app.
