The only application for the iphone that lets you have maps for ANY city in the world* with offline ROUTING and offline SEARCH capabilities.

This application uses the data from openstreetmap which is updated and improved daily. If you want to check the state of the map for the place you want to use it for, you can go to www.openstreetmap.org
Tip: In order to select an origin or a destination for a route you can search for a street, an intersection or just double tap the map where you want to set the location...
Why Offline maps?
It allows you to extend your battery life and lets you save from paying expensive roaming charges when traveling.
Why TRUE offline maps? Because it is the only application for the iphone that will allow you to have
✓unlimited city downloads (you can download ANY city in the world and more: you can download part of a city, or even country side). The current zoom available is enough for cities, not entire countries... Though I will be adding the option to append new maps to existing maps in order to have much larger areas!
✓offline routing for any place you download. It doesn't preload routes, but calculates them without the need to be connected to the internet.
✓offline places of interest (POI) for any part of the world. You don't need to buy additional packages to get POI, everything is there when you download it.
✓offline search: search for street names and places (house numbers coming soon).
✓collaborative mapping: You can add new places of interests and share them with the world! You can also help improve the map, it´s fun and somehow it feels good.
